In July and August 2019, GREEN at Hotel ICON and Mövenpick® Ice Cream welcome warmer weather with the freshness of the Swiss Alps through a summer edition afternoon tea adventure.

Get ready for an ice cream overload, with unlimited scoops of Mövenpick® Ice Cream’s latest delectable flavours including Cookies & Caramel, Black Forest Cake and Lemon Pie. Mövenpick® Ice Cream crafts all their ice cream with care, purity, passion and joy, helping them become the famous Swiss ice cream of today. Executive Pastry Chef Danny Ho, Hotel ICON has masterfully infused the creamy ingredients from Mövenpick® Ice Cream into unique and delicious treats for guests to savour spoon by spoon. The chocolate coated ice cream treats shaped into delicate summer fruits, beautifully designed Cookie & Caramel Potted Plant Dessert and freshly baked Traditional British and Chocolate Scones are an experience too bliss to miss.

Savoury highlights include the Chorizo Mozzarella on Toast, Mushroom Wellington Square, Bloody Mary with Shrimp Skewer, Roasted Potato Ball stuffed with Caviar and the much-adored Parmesan Pesto Toast with Smoked Salmon.

Who doesn’t love to brunch? In addition to the beloved weekend brunch with unlimited appetisers and desserts with a choice of main course, GREEN is introducing Pacific oysters three ways.

Our fellow brunch lovers can look forward to a different style of cooked oysters each week^ with:
Kaki Fry Oysters, a popular Japanese dish that is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside
Oysters Mornay, a baked oyster dish enriched with grated Parmesan cheese and cream
Steamed Oysters, prepared in Chinese style, sprinkled with Ginger and topped with Spring Onion

Enjoy the brunch buffet while sipping on a chilled glass of refreshing juice or soft drink.

To enjoy alongside the above mentioned menu, our pastry chef extraordinaire, Danny Ho will also be creating delectable Häagen-Dazs ice cream desserts throughout March and April.

Clawing for a taste of the most scrumptious seafood in town? Take your seat under the stunning vertical gardens at GREEN for a divine set dinner to remember. Every Thursday and Friday evening, indulge in a four-course set menu where each and every dish is enhanced by fresh, succulent crab, priced at an incredible $488* per person. The menu begins with a duo of Crab Meat in Mango and Crab Cake, followed by richly flavoured Alaskan Crab Legs with Garlic Butter made on the distinctive Josper Grill.

For the main course, choose your favourite from a selection of the finest international fruits of the sea including Fresh Crab Meat Spaghetti with Chilli and Cilantro, Baked Norwegian Salmon Fillet with Crab Meat Crust or Surf and Turf made with Pan-fried King Prawn and Beef Tenderloin. For a sumptuous finale to the evening, delight in gourmet coffee or tea and acclaimed pastry Chef Danny’s delectable GREEN's Fondue. The perfect accompaniment to your dinner…free-flow of white sangria, a carafe of house wine per person, or a bottle of sparkling wine to share, all specially selected to compliment the flavours of the crab.

GREEN is an especially sleek spot for a drink, under one of Asia’s largest vertical gardens designed by the world-famous botanist, Patrick Blanc. In addition to its jaw-dropping vertical garden, Green also celebrates Hong Kong, old and new. Around the bar metal shutters reflect the traditional look of Hong Kong’s shopfronts. An alumni of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the owner of Hotel ICON, artist Freeman Lau has won more than 300 awards for his work enhancing the identity of Hong Kong and his piece ‘City Confusion’, a beautiful stainless steel chair sculpture, also graces GREEN. Hung Keung’s remarkable ‘Dao gives birth to one’ is an experimental digital media installation that centres on Daoism. Behind, William Lim’s sweeping staircase leads elegantly up to the first floor.
